मुरली विजय कोरोना वैक्‍सीन लेने के लिए तैयार नहीं, सैयद मुश्‍ताक अली ट्रॉफी से भी बाहर!

Murali Vijay not ready to take corona vaccine, also out of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy!

New Delhi. Tamil Nadu started their season with the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy earlier this month but star opener Marji Vijay is far from his team and the tournament. According to media reports, Murali Vijay is not ready to take the code-19 vaccine and he does not want to be in the bio-bubble. The BCCI's SOP has asked state associations to strictly abide by Code 19 protocol rules.

According to the Times of India, a source said that Vijay does not want to be a part of the bubble. Sources said that this is a personal decision of Murali Vijay. He has been reluctant to take the vaccine. The BCCISOP states that a player must be in the bubble before the tournament starts and after that as long as he is with the team, Vijay does not want to do that. That is why the selectors of Tamil Nadu did not consider him for selection.

Murali Vijay will have to prove his fitness at the age of 37.

Sources said that the selectors of Tamil Nadu did not even mention the name of 37-year-old Murali Vijay in the selection meeting. Sources also said that if Vijay could not make a place in the team, even if he is ready to be vaccinated, he will have to prove his fitness once again at this age for a place in the team.

Sources said that the selectors did not mention his name in the meeting. His name was not even included in the list of potential players for Tamil Nadu before the domestic season. If he is ready to get vaccinated and wants to come back, it will be a long way for him because he will not be selected immediately. To be re-elected for Tamil Nadu, he will have to prove his fitness and play a few matches. Murali Vijay was also not a part of this IPL season. The last time he played a Ranji Trophy match was in 2019 against Karnataka for Tamil Nadu.
